Infinite Mystery and Treasures of the Gospel: The Trinity Equation
Today I want to discuss the second equation. What a God we serve! Mathematical genius doesn't begin to cover it. He is the Father of all equations, with so much knowledge in him that it will take us the rest of eternity to understand.
Revelation refers to God as the "Alpha and Omega". This stands for the first and last letters of the classical Greek alphabet, meaning the beginning and the end, literally. There are many mysteries of God to be uncovered. The Bible is full of things to be pondered and meditated on. It may be confusing at first, but it's best to come to it like a book full of mysteries to be uncovered. Come to it with ravenous desire and passion to discover and uncover the mysteries of the Gospel.
I wrote this recently: "I have made a discovery. I have uncovered the mystery and treasures of the gospel. I have been compelled to understand it. I have studied it with burning desire. It has become real to me, so real that I have found nothing more real than this- Christ died in my place and rose again. Everything that was important to me before has lost it's value. There is nothing so valuable as Christ in my life."
Another scripture concerning the giving of the Holy Spirit:
So we see that the Holy Spirit was poured out AFTER Jesus ascended and was glorified in Heaven, completing the last part of the equation of the Trinity.
The cross is a game changer. That's why it's in the middle. Jesus is intercessor. It looks like a plus sign, and oh man, it is the biggest plus I have EVER found! Once you really come into revelation of the power of the cross you WILL change. You can't help but change! The love of God, represented by the cross, is so deep and so real that it has healing power. Whatever it touches it heals. The proof is all your old biggest weaknesses will become your biggest strengths.
Don't deceive yourself. If you haven't changed dramatically, drastically for the better, you have not truly encountered the cross. Want to change? Pray for understanding of the cross!
When I think about the cross lately my mouth opens wide in shock and wonder. When you really ponder the cross and think on it, it will literally take your breath away. You will be touched deeply. Our God made a way for us. He willingly suffered torture and death, blood and gore FOR US. I picture him looking at me from the cross with a look on his face saying "I did this for you." How can I forget that EVER?
The Good news becomes not just good news but GREAT news, oh man, more than that even! Spectacular news! I can't keep this to myself!- type news. I have to tell someone. I have to tell everyone! How can I keep this treasure to myself?

So this is the Trinity equation: Α † Ω
- This is the formula. The cross lies in the space between the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. This represents the Trinity: God the Father as A (Alpha), Jesus the Son as †, and the Holy Spirit as Ω (Omega).
The Holy Spirit was given after Jesus ascended to Heaven, after he resurrected, as promised, at the Pentecost.
Acts 1:8
"But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
Another scripture concerning the giving of the Holy Spirit:
John 7:37-39
The Promise of the Holy Spirit
"On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified."So we see that the Holy Spirit was poured out AFTER Jesus ascended and was glorified in Heaven, completing the last part of the equation of the Trinity.
