There's a new song in my heart.
There's a new song in my soul.
I'll tell you a secret.
There is a melody that's everlasting!
A song that just doesn't end!
This song has a name.
May that name be ever lifted higher.
Til it reaches the heights of the heavens, and spills down again,
to this world.
There is a kingdom
Of the everlasting sort.
All your wildest dreams that you ever dreamt,
It gets better than that.
The name Jesus,
the highest of any sort!
I've searched high and low for a name that could compare.
There is but one.
A name so holy, yet so attainable.
That we may even utter his name.
A name so distant, yet so close.
A name we should never have the privilege to even speak, but by
his grace to the common man, he puts himself within our reach.
The glorious joy of heaven forever singing... that name!
