Planting Seeds
I really want to discuss this today and encourage all of you for the seeds you are planting into people's lives everyday. I want you to be encouraged for what you are doing so that you do it even more! Even when it seems like you are getting no response, the seeds are STILL being planted and they just take TIME to grow! So don't be discouraged and give up! Just keep going and doing what you are doing. Just know that the Lord's approval is all we really need. The world is FICKLE and undecided. Their support and attention don't last, but God's does. He always sees what we do. He sees everything! And that's why we do it. FOR HIM. Not just for other people. We live for him! And I do it only because that's what HE WANTS. Not for their approval or to make myself feel better or accepted. I already AM accepted, first and foremost by God! Anything else is a bonus. That is the power that enables us to keep going even when times are tough, even when we get NO response. Just the knowledge that the Lord is pleased can help us to just keep going and not grow weary.
Isaiah 40:31
But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.
Also, you have to look at the response you DO get and be thankful for that. Is it the amount and manner that you'd like? No! But if you are getting ANY it is still a response nonetheless. Sometimes we have to be thankful for what we have to receive more. Just remember to give God all the glory that belongs to him in the first place. Everything is going along just as it should at the pace that it should. God forbid things should happen too fast and you be overwhelmed. The Lord absolutely knows best and his timing is perfect. I trust him! I don't know best what I need, he does! The greatest ministries and other things accomplished by people have started small and they didn't give up and I won't either! Sometimes we just have to go with the flow, and know everything is just fine the way it is. There is perfection in this very moment if we have God in our lives.
